Two things to do, two buttons to know. The blue needle points to your target — a spot you typed in, or your Start.
Screen up and level, like a real compass. Tilting it upright gives a wrong heading.
Keep it flat and trace a lazy 8 in the air for a few seconds. That calibrates the compass. Do it again any time the heading looks off.
Tap it when you leave the dock or the truck. It saves that exact spot and starts counting your trip miles.
Tap it and the blue needle points straight at your Start, with the distance counting down. The gold ring fills as you close in, and blinks red if you head the wrong way.
